This page is where I'll be posting about my favorite game, shogi. You might be wondering what shogi is - if I had to explain it I would describe the game as a sort of balancing act that is quite limitless, capricious, and bewildering. Let me get the facts in, though. Shogi is a japanese board game that is in the same family of games as chess. One of the things that makes shogi so special is a unique rule that allows captured pieces to re-enter the game under the capturer's side on almost any square on the board. This makes for dynamic play that never gets tiring.
